Who We Are

Physicians Professional Billing Services, Inc. (“PPBS”) operates ppbs.us. This policy describes what information the website collects and how it is used. It applies to the website only. Information that PPBS receives from clients in the course of billing services is governed by the service agreement and business associate agreement with that client, not by this policy.

Information You Submit

The consultation form collects your name, practice name, email address, phone number (optional), specialty, practice size and a message. PPBS uses this information to respond to your inquiry and to discuss billing services. It is delivered by email to PPBS and is not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Please do not include patient names, dates of birth, member identification numbers or any other protected health information in the form. Patient information should only be exchanged after a business associate agreement is in place, through the secure channels PPBS provides.

Information Collected Automatically

The website uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure page views and general traffic patterns. This service does not use cookies and does not collect personal identifiers; it records aggregate information such as page visited, referring site, country and device type. The website is hosted on Vercel, which may log standard server information such as IP address and request time for security and operation of the service.

Service Providers

Form submissions are transmitted using Resend, an email delivery service, and the site is hosted by Vercel. These providers process data only to deliver their services to PPBS.

Links To Other Sites

ppbs.us links to government agencies, professional organizations and our credentialing partner, PECS. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and PPBS is not responsible for them.

Your Choices

You may ask PPBS to correct or delete the information you submitted through the website by emailing estemmler@ppbs.us or calling (619) 258-6200.

Changes

PPBS may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
